Botox, without the freeze.

Expression lines relaxed with conservative dosing — so your face still moves, and still reads as yours.

Still-life study in morning daylight representing Botox, plate 01 of the Anastology collection

What It Is

Botox is the best known of the botulinum toxin neuromodulators — a family that also includes Jeuveau, Xeomin, and Dysport. Injected in small, precise doses into specific muscles, it interrupts the nerve signal that tells those muscles to contract. The muscle relaxes; the line it kept folding into the skin softens. It is the standard treatment for forehead lines, crow’s feet, and the frown lines between the brows, and results last three to six months.

What It Addresses

  • Forehead lines
  • Frown lines between the brows
  • Crow’s feet
  • Dynamic wrinkles from repeated expression
  • Lines beginning to settle in at rest
  • A brow that reads tense or heavy
  • Prevention, before lines etch in

How Anastasia Approaches It

I dose conservatively, on purpose. It is easy to add more at your two-week review; it is impossible to take any away. So I map your face while it moves — most of the decisions happen while you are talking, not while I am injecting — and I treat the muscle activity I actually see, never a standard template.

If you ask for a completely smooth forehead, I will tell you what that costs: expression. My aim is that people notice you look rested and cannot say why. Between Botox, Jeuveau, Xeomin, and Dysport, I recommend the one that suits your anatomy and your history — not the one with the best margin.

The Appointment

  1. I

    Consultation

Anastasia watches your face move — talking, frowning, raising your brows — and takes a full medical history. If a neuromodulator is not the right tool for your concern, she says so here.

  2. II

    Mapping

Injection points are marked while you animate, and the dose is planned per muscle rather than per area. The plan is explained plainly before anything is opened.

  3. III

    Treatment

The injections themselves take ten to thirty minutes with a very fine needle. Most people describe pinpricks, not pain, and return to their day immediately.

  4. IV

    Aftercare

You stay upright for four hours and skip strenuous exercise for the day. At two weeks, Anastasia reviews her own work and refines if needed — the review is part of the treatment.

HONEST LIMITS

Honest Limits

What this will not do

  • Erase lines that are already etched in at rest — it softens them, but it cannot resurface skin.
  • Replace lost volume. A neuromodulator relaxes muscle; it adds nothing beneath the skin.
  • Lift skin that has begun to sag along the jaw or neck.
  • Freeze your face. If total stillness is the goal, this is the wrong studio.

When Anastasia will decline

  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If the dose you are asking for would erase expression entirely.
  • If your real concern is volume loss or laxity — Botox would take your money and miss the problem.

Aftercare

Do

  • Stay upright for four hours after treatment
  • Gently exercise the treated muscles — frown, smile, raise your brows — in the first hour
  • Return for the two-week review so the settled result can be judged and refined
  • Resume normal skincare the next day

Avoid

  • Rub or massage the treated areas for 24 hours
  • Lie face-down or wear tight headwear the day of treatment
  • Do strenuous exercise for 24 hours
  • Book facials or facial massage for two weeks
