Plate 07 · Skin Rejuvenation

№ 07/10

Your own biology, concentrated.

Platelets and fibrin drawn from your own blood, concentrated and returned where your skin and hair need them.

Still-life study in morning daylight representing PRF, plate 07 of the Anastology collection
An amber vial held to the morning. Pl. 07.

What It Is

Platelet-rich fibrin begins with a small draw of your own blood, spun to concentrate its platelets, fibrin, and growth factors, then returned to your skin or scalp by injection or microneedling. Because the material is entirely yours, the risk of allergic reaction is minimal. Skin responds within a few weeks — improved texture, tone, and collagen; hair restoration builds more slowly, over several months.

What It Addresses

  • Thinning hair and early hair loss
  • Under-eye puffiness and fine lines
  • Dull, tired-reading skin
  • Early texture change
  • Overall skin quality and tone
  • Slower recovery when paired with other treatments
  • A preference for nothing synthetic

How Anastasia Approaches It

What I like about PRF is its honesty: everything in the syringe came out of your own arm twenty minutes earlier. No product to react to, nothing synthetic to migrate — concentrated platelets and fibrin, returned where your skin or scalp can use the growth factors.

I am candid about its pace and its limits. Skin brightens within weeks; hair takes months, and follicles that are fully gone will not come back — thinning responds, bald shine does not. And if your under-eye concern is structural hollowing rather than skin quality, I will tell you filler is the better tool before we draw a drop of blood.

The Appointment

  1. I

    Consultation

Skin or hair goals are reviewed against what PRF can honestly reach — and against what a different tool would serve better.

  2. II

    Mapping

A small blood draw is taken and spun while the treatment areas are marked and numbed. The preparation happens in the room, from you.

  3. III

    Treatment

The concentrate is returned to the mapped areas — injected beneath the eyes or at the scalp, or worked in with microneedling, depending on the plan.

  4. IV

    Aftercare

Mild swelling or fullness settles within a day or two. Skin changes appear over weeks, hair over months, with follow-ups scheduled to track both.

HONEST LIMITS

Honest Limits

What this will not do

  • Revive follicles that are fully gone. Thinning responds to PRF; established bald skin does not.
  • Create structural volume the way a filler does — it improves quality, not architecture.
  • Work overnight. Skin answers in weeks; hair answers in months.

When Anastasia will decline

  • If hair loss is advanced enough that PRF would spend your money without moving the result.
  • If a blood or platelet condition in your history argues against it — reviewed in consultation.
  • If you are pregnant.

Aftercare

Do

  • Ice gently if the treated area feels tender
  • Wash the scalp gently for the first day after hair treatment
  • Stay consistent with the series — biology rewards repetition
  • Judge skin results in weeks and hair results in months; that is the honest timeline

Avoid

  • Rub or massage injected areas for 24 hours
  • Do strenuous exercise on the first day
  • Use harsh actives on treated skin for several days
  • Compare progress to filler timelines — PRF works differently, on purpose
