A letter from Anastasia.

The Letter

Ibuilt Anastology because I wanted the kind of practice I would want to walk into myself — small, quiet, and run by the person doing the work.

Aesthetic medicine, at its best, is patient. You sit down. You describe what you actually want, not what an algorithm has told you to want. We talk through what would suit you, what wouldn’t, and what could wait. I work in restraint. Whatever we do, you should still look like yourself.

I’ve spent more than a decade training across injectables, lasers, threads, RF, and regenerative protocols. The reason that matters isn’t the list itself — it’s that I can tell you, honestly, which one of those tools is the right one for the thing you came in for, and which ones you can safely ignore.

Most appointments here are with people who have been somewhere else first and didn’t love how it felt. If that’s you, you’re very welcome.

In her words

Why does every appointment happen with you?

Because every appointment is mine — the consult, the injection, the follow-up. There is no front desk handing you to a tech. When one person carries your whole history, nothing gets lost between visits, and nobody in the room is paid to sell you anything. This is the practice.

What will you refuse to do?

Anything that makes you look done. I decline work more often than people expect — a trend that will read as a mistake in five years, filler on a face that doesn’t need volume, a treatment someone wants for a reason we haven’t talked through yet. If you don’t need it, I’ll say so. If something I offer isn’t right for what you want, I’ll say that too.

How do you keep your training current?

Deliberately, and with some skepticism. This field moves fast, and not everything new deserves a place in the room. I keep studying — advanced coursework, hands-on training, time with colleagues whose judgment I trust — and I watch a technique long enough to see how it holds up before I offer it. By the time something reaches my hands, it has earned its way in.

What is a first visit actually like?

Unhurried. Plan for about an hour. We sit and talk before anything else — your history, your face, what has been bothering you and for how long. I’ll tell you what I see, what I’d suggest, and in what order. Some people treat the same day; plenty leave with nothing but a plan, and that is a perfectly good outcome.

How do you think about aging?

As something to work with, not against. A face earns its character, and my job is to keep it looking rested and cared for at every stage — never frozen at one. I prefer small adjustments made patiently over years to any single dramatic correction. The best compliment my patients hear is that they seem well, not that they seem different.
