Plate 03 · Injectables

№ 03/10

Collagen, on its own schedule.

A slow rebuild of your own collagen — results that arrive over months and hold for two years or more.

Still-life study in morning daylight representing Bio-Stimulants, plate 03 of the Anastology collection
Washed linen, folded in daylight. Pl. 03.

What It Is

Bio-stimulants are injectables that work indirectly: rather than filling a space, they prompt your body to rebuild its own collagen. Sculptra, hyperdiluted Radiesse, and EZ Gel each do this differently, but the principle is shared — a modest immediate improvement, followed by months of gradual change as collagen and elasticity return. Because the result is your own tissue rather than a product sitting in place, it typically holds for two years or more.

What It Addresses

  • Diffuse, age-related volume loss
  • Skin that has lost elasticity and bounce
  • Crepey texture on the face
  • Hollowing across the cheeks and temples
  • Thinning skin quality
  • Buttock volume and shape, without implants
  • A preference for gradual, unattributable change

How Anastasia Approaches It

This is the treatment I reach for when someone tells me they want to look well, not done. Bio-stimulants do not create a before-and-after moment; they change the slope of the line. That takes months, and I am honest about the timeline in the first conversation — if you need a result by an event next month, this is the wrong tool and I will say so.

I plan bio-stimulation as a series, mapped against how your face is actually aging — where volume is going, where the skin itself is thinning. When the result arrives, it is your own collagen: nothing to migrate, nothing that reads as product. In my experience, it is the treatment patients are gladdest they were patient for.

The Appointment

  1. I

    Consultation

A candid conversation about timelines. This treatment rewards patience, and Anastasia will tell you plainly if your calendar does not fit it.

  2. II

    Mapping

Areas of volume loss and thinning are assessed and photographed, and the series is planned across months — the plan is the treatment.

  3. III

    Treatment

The stimulant is placed with topical numbing in an unhurried session. A modest immediate improvement is normal; the real work begins beneath the surface.

  4. IV

    Aftercare

Massage instructions where the product calls for them, and scheduled follow-ups as collagen develops over the months that follow.

HONEST LIMITS

Honest Limits

What this will not do

  • Deliver a dramatic result this month. The immediate change is modest; the real one takes months to build.
  • Sharply define a single feature — a lip border, a chin point. That is precision filler work.
  • Rescue severely lax skin. Collagen stimulation firms; it does not lift what has truly fallen.

When Anastasia will decline

  • If you need a visible result before an event in the next several weeks — the timeline simply does not fit.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If your medical history argues against collagen stimulation — reviewed candidly in consultation.

Aftercare

Do

  • Massage as instructed when the product calls for it — it distributes the stimulant evenly
  • Use ice briefly for any swelling on the first day
  • Keep your scheduled follow-up sessions — the series is the treatment
  • Judge the result at your follow-up, not in the mirror the first week

Avoid

  • Do strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours
  • Massage or manipulate the area beyond what is instructed
  • Expect the outcome in the first weeks — collagen is slower than that
  • Book other treatments in the same area without checking first
